Our story started with stone, and it remains our bedrock. Now in our 21st year we have grown from an idea between our two directors Claire Brutnall and John Wootton into the talented, resourceful, and innovative firm of today.
A company of two halves, with water features & garden accessories on one side and tiles & flagstones on the other, 2023 sees Foras coming together under one brand, one logo and one identity. Foras has come of age and is ready for a refresh! Our new look and logo strive to represent our journey both from the initial seed to stone and onwards from stone into the technical creativity of acrylic, glass and steel. From our creative minds to the homes and gardens of our loyal customers.
We have always been focused of celebrating our Norfolk heritage and values, of honesty, genuine care, and passion in pride of workmanship. Our people are everything and it is their personalities and ingenuity which constantly drives the business forwards.
Our new colours are representative of both the warm tones of our origins in the earth, to the green of a lush garden and the Royal blue of our Royal county.
At the core of Foras has always been the desire to source the best, in terms of quality, materials and supplier relationships – an ethos which has grown from the direct selection and importing of Indian sandstone, to applying that skill of source in Morocco, Egypt, Italy, Portugal, Poland and within the UK itself. We take pride in our independence and our design led approach.
To celebrate our rebrand and 21st anniversary we have created our very own gin. Distilled in Norfolk, Foras Signature Gin is packed with local botanicals including juniper, verbena, and sea buckthorn. On the palate, verbena and orange peel add zest and freshness, with gentle spices at the finish.
