Afternoon Kellie,

I have finally got round to taking some pictures of our garden, and remembered that I had promised to send you some so that you could see what we have done with Keith’s (designer) and Foras’s help.

We’re really pleased with it, hard to believe it was only completed last year.

You can see how the various Foras pieces complement the design beautifully.

The only change we are planning on is to extend the limestone patio around the water feature and raised beds so that we can comfortably walk out of the house and to the bench in bare feet!

Words cannot do justice to the emotions that the beautiful shark sandstone plinth evokes. Engraved with words for my daughter on which her cremation urn stands like an eternal candle of light. The excellent service, workmanship and support from start to finish has been outstanding. All of my thoughts, wishes and requests were supported and realised. I can’t recommend Foras enough. I just wanted Foras to know that I am delighted with my Belmont Rainbow Water Feature.

David Bizley and his team at Eden Art Scapes did an excellent job building a plinth with seating area around it to place the 60cm Belmont Rainbow Sphere on top.

It looks stunning lit up with the rainbow pebbles surrounding it.

David included 45 sq metres of paving in the design and I was full of admiration for all those involved as the weather was appalling, wet, windy and heavy water logged clay soil to deal with and never a complaint!

The cleanliness and attention to detail was outstanding, thank you for your recommendation.

We have tiled our courtyard with Rainbow Sandstone slabs in 3 sizes and it is absolutely beautiful and wouldn’t be out of place in the Mediterranean.

To compliment this we bought 3 slanted Rainbow Stone planters and the Jasper curved bench which look amazing.

We have now just purchased the Bowl and Ball water feature in Rainbow stone and the overall effect is stunning and needs virtually no looking after.

When it rains the stone changes to an entirely different colour which again is amazing.

We cannot express the pleasure we get from our Jasper Bench. Just sitting on it in the garden and feeling the wonderful texture of the stone is so restful.

We love sitting there with a coffee just looking at the beautiful design of the rainbow stone slabs on the floor. The bench gives it structure and balance. Our favourite piece of garden furniture.

“Floral and Hardy” – November 2015

One of our clients’ main criteria when commissioning us to design their garden was that it should be low-maintenance but still look beautiful, and that went for the water feature too.

Fortunately Foras were just developing this new style of water feature with the pump concealed within the bowl beneath the rainbow sandstone sphere.

This meant no below ground reservoir to collect leaves and debris, making it much easier to maintain, whilst still giving this stunning visual effect.

In July 2014 an oil leak was discovered emanating from an AGA in the kitchen which required extensive floor restoration. We fortunately got FORAS involved as part of the insurance claim and without their input, ensuring that time-scales were met it would have dragged on for much longer. We are delighted with the flooring and cannot speak highly enough of the staff and service provided, through what was for us a most difficult and stressful time. We are very grateful.
