Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Fenland countryside our spectacular show gardens, the ‘oasis of the fens’, are the culmination of over two decades of dedication from our directors, former farmer John Wootton and his partner, Claire Brutnall. They combined their expertise and creativity and over 21 years later, Foras has become an award-winning business with an exclusive range of water features, garden accessories and hand selected tiles and flagstones.
Through continuous development Foras has become a premier source for unique natural stones and quality porcelains, backed with comprehensive service and inimitable knowledge base. Our in-house design team can create bespoke water features, stone finishes and complete rendered schemes for both trade and retail clients. A visit to our gardens is an incomparable experience which is both immersive and educational.

Water Features
Our Stowbridge show garden has the largest display of running water features anywhere in the UK. From our famous natural stone and slate spheres to flowing water bowls and more modern acrylic and glass, our water features are designed to enhance the garden’s beauty and elegance, creating an atmosphere of serenity with the sound and visual effect of running water. It is all in the details, personally sourcing our products directly from the manufacturers, testing everything in house and backing everything up with our exceptional customer service. We offer the unique experience of being able to pick your exact feature, our choosing area contains stock of our water feature stones which can be brought to life with a little water. You then receive the exact stone chosen! Our extensive show garden is ‘better by design’, with planted areas, giving inspiration and the opportunity to visualise our pieces in a garden setting.
New Foras Planter Emporium
A new home for our Premium Planting ranges, the emporium is an exciting indoor space in which to peruse our collection. With a tiled walkway, festoon lights and a bright and spacious atmosphere the Emporium is also used as an event space. A complete range
The Foras range includes planters of every shape and size, specially developed to protect plants and weather well in our British climate. We have innovative solid stone benches and a large selection of stone birdbaths, which can be paired with our slate plinths for added height. All our ranges are thoroughly tested in our gardens so we can be confident of quality and practicality.
Many of our items can be personalised with our in-house engraving service, whether commemorating a significant event, designing a lasting memorial, or accenting your space with meaningful words, we can help. Inspiration everywhere
In addition to our Home & Garden wares, Foras offers an extensive range of tile and flagstone materials for both inside and outside the home. The gardens are cleverly constructed in themed areas to give you plenty of inspiration and ideas – and inside you will find the tiles and flagstones laid on the walls and floors in larger areas, enabling you to get a sense of perspective of how the products will look and feel within the setting of your home or business.
Bring to us your designs, ideas, or plans; either personally or through your chosen designer or builder and we will piece together the elements you desire and require for any room in your home or area in your garden. No project is too large or too small.
Something for everyone
We source our own range of Foras Originals; natural stones and porcelains from all over Europe, Egypt, and South Asia. The Foras Originals have each been selected because of their unique properties. For the trade we offer our individually packaged sample ammo boxes, which can be taken to client meetings to present options. Each box is collated for that specific client whether you need to offer natural stone or porcelain, or a mix of the two. For the consumer we offer swatch samples and full-size tiles as well as design consultations for those with complex and extensive projects.
Visiting Foras is truly an experience, with lots to see for the whole family. Enjoy lunch at a local country pub and join us for a drink and chat while you take in the 10,000 m2 of inspirational water features, sculptures, benches, giftware and market leading flooring for your home and garden.
Juniper Sky
In honour of our involvement with the Chelsea Flower Show, winning 2 gold medals, we have built our very own piece of Chelsea here in the heart of Norfolk, a tranquil setting to reflect and enjoy space and freedom. A Chelsea Garden is a chance to showcase what can be achieved in a small space; Juniper Sky is compact yet feels spacious and has an avenue of water features, alluding to the avenue at Chelsea. The hard landscaping is built to take you on different journeys through the garden and there are many striking structural plants used to offer interest throughout the year, ensuring the garden is ready for all seasons. At it’s heart is the Juniper Sky Gin Bar, open for special Foras events, which showcases our extensive selection of Signature Norfolk drinks.
Fen Glade
Stroll on from the Juniper Sky Garden and down into our Fen Glade woodland. The woods have been maintained and landscaped for optimum tree health and will enhance your Foras shopping experience. Offering 2 signposted walks for Foras customers, one through the woods and one longer route across the fields, the Fen Glade is a chance to see the true beauty of our area of Fenland.
The Fenway Yurt, affectionately named Burt in the office, is a haven in the woodland. Built entirely by the team at Foras the yurt will eventually become a hireable space so you too can enjoy the tranquillity and peace of Fen Glade.
